Anxiety, Perfectionism, & Burnout

Perfectionism often leads to burnout as you set unreasonably high standards for yourself. This relentless pursuit of perfection can result in increased anxiety, decreased flexibility, and a constant feeling of never doing or being enough.

Perfectionists tend to overwork themselves, dedicating excessive time and energy to tasks in order to meet their unrealistic expectations.

This chronic cycle of setting unattainable goals, pushing beyond limits, and experiencing continual dissatisfaction can ultimately deplete your physical, emotional, and mental resources, leading to burnout.

In our sessions, we will explore shifting to a new relationship with your anxious, type-A brain. Rather than viewing it as an enemy to be defeated, we will work on accepting anxiety as a normal part of life and how to better manage its downsides.

You don’t need a new brain, just a different way to relate to it.
